Come and discover the magic of Christmas in 6 of the greatest castles of the Loire Valley: Amboise, Azay-le-Rideau, Chenonceau, Chinon, Loches, and Villandry. Enjoy a unique experience through emblematic themes of the Christmas holidays: toys, lights, delicacies, porcelain, tales, legends, and winter nature.
Take advantage of special rates to visit the châteaux and some more discounts with several partners.
Four passes are available this year:

- 5 château Pass for €66
- 6 château Pass for €75
How does it work ?
1) Select the Pass of your choice.
2) Present your Pass in card format or E-ticket at the door of the châteaux and at our partner sites.
3) Visit 3, 4, 5, or 6 châteaux among the 6 châteaux offered, depending on the Pass you choose, with only one visit per site.
Passes are personal and non-transferable and valid from November 29th 2025, to January 4th, 2026, included.

Practical information about the châteaux
You are advised to check the opening times on the official websites before planning your visits
The Pass does not constitute a skip-the-line ticket except for the châteaux of Azay-le-Rideau and Amboise. It does not include access to temporary exhibitions, guided tours, or specific events at partner sites.
Be aware that every single castle have special pricing rules for children, teens and students
However, Passes offer several advantages:
• flexibility in organizing visits during the dates indicate;
• Combined tickets
• skip-the-line access to the châteaux of Azay-le-Rideau and Amboise;
• free access to evening events at no extra cost;
• Possibility to visit the Château of Chenonceau without booking a time slot (due to a higher number of visitors during the event regular visitors need timed tickets);
• discounts/benefits from dozens of partners.
The themes of the castles and evening events
Each château offers a special late night opening evening so visitors can explore the Christmas magic from nightfall until 8 p.m. (last admission at 7 p.m. in some châteaux). The Pass allows you to enjoy these late openings without extra cost if you visit the château on these dates.
• Château and Gardens of Villandry: “At Christmas, nature comes to the castle.” Red deer, fawns, owls, squirrels, and foxes happily take over the château.
Evening event on Saturday, December 6th .
• Château of Azay-le-Rideau: “Delicacies in the kingdom of fairy tales.” An enchanted interlude filled with delicacies and imagination.
Evening event on Saturday, December 13th.
• Royal Château of Amboise: “Christmas, childhood dreams: Oh, beautiful fir trees.” The Fir Tree of Dreams and Fantasies, the Fir Tree of the Fearless Knight, the Forest Prince of the Dark Night, or the Fir Tree that Wanted to Be King... so many fantastical trees invite you to celebrate Christmas.
Evening event on Saturday, December 20th.
• Château of Chenonceau : “Far North.” Winter invits itself with a decor inspired by the Far North: snow-covered birch forests, white fir trees, and ice floes populated by penguins in the kitchens. The grand gallery and Louise de Lorraine's bedroom also have icy surprises in store.
Evening event on Tuesday, December 23th.
• Royal Fortress of Chinon: “Christmas Treasures.” Gold, a symbol of light, magic, and wonder, inspires a magical journey imagined by floral designer Géraldine Leclerc.
Evening event on Sunday, December 28th.
• Royal City of Loches: “Tales of the Royal City.” This year, visitors are invited to immerse themselves in the wonderful world of Alice in Wonderland, a tale created by Lewis Carroll.
